    Many thanks for the photos, I work in a house in Coulsdon and looked out for the smoke around 3:15pm yesterday, but saw nothing - I could have been working with my back to the window when it went by! ](*,)

    Nice pictures.
    They do sometimes leave the water stop at Shalford early as we have found out in the past with 35028 and 4472 appearing somewhat earlier than expected up in the Hills.

    Nice photos - I was actually on this train as a 40th birthday treat from my wife! (And a very pleasant way to spend a few hours it was too :)

    Anyone mind if I take a copy for personal use - I was only able to take photos in Platform 2 at Victoria and the light was all wrong to get any good ones with the camera I had...

    i remember seeing the old girl at shalford and i have a feeling the fireman may have struggled up gomshall bank.
