35028 VSOE 7th December 2013

Any news on this Guildford circular yet? RT trains doesn't seem have any reports on it's progress (due to leave Victoria at 12.28). Off to Worplesdon to see 35028 go through but I am a bit concerned by the lack of updates on RT trains page.

 

Clan Line on Twitter reported around 1339 that they are now underway. Their latest tweets with the most recent first:

- Under way without 67. Running 1 hour down.

- Delayed owing to diesel failure. Held just outside Victoria.

 

Interesting that RTT forecasts it to be only 23 late back in to Victoria.

Hmm. I wonder what the rail condition are like on Gomshall bank. Clan Line does have a good record up there with/without the diesel on the back. Just hope the loco and crew are not going to encounter the peak of bad conditions for this Autumn.

 

Running fantastically through Egham, with a bonus whistle thanks to trackside workers, probably worth the extra hour wait in the cold! Thanks for posting about the issue.
