Looks like 45212 removed from KWVR steam gala roster, main line duty?
Is 45212 air braked? As there are a couple of RTC tours on the 23rd and 27th and a Northern Belle on the 30th March

Asked about this on Facebook this week, reply from KWVR was

"You'll be able to get one of A4 On-The-Day Booklets with all the timetables in"

Not ideal, as in previous years you could download them, I cannot even cut and paste them into word or excel formats, but that could be me!!!!

Pure guesses anyway but here goes...

6990 has a charter on 18th so will have to arrive by next Friday anyway.

4079 I imagine both that and 2999 will be moved together to the unloading area at Didcot to save on costs as 2999 is booked for the East Somerset Railway gala next weekend.

I have just succeeded in copying the whole timetable for Saturday from the KWVR website and pasting it into a blank Numbers spreadsheet on my iPad. I then went into the Numbers Print dialogue, selected Landscape orientation and Auto scaled it. The last column of the timetable just runs into a second sheet.

    Many thanks frazoulaswak.

Further questioning of the no pdfs this year to the railway, was met with something along the lines of that this is to deter trespassing that took place on a grand scale at the last galas and those that do not support the railway by buying a ticket.

Also of note, the A59 from Harrogate to Skipton (Kex Gill) is to remain closed until after Easter sadly.

My conscious is clear, always buy a ticket even if not travelling or travelling minimally. As expressed by others previously, don't assume all linesiders are free loading. Soap box away!

I again went to the second day of the KWVR Spring Steam Gala today, most of the time split between Haworth shed first thing, and the steep path just outside Keighley station

Just home from 2 very good days at the gala. Both GWR visitors impressive, in looks and performance. Plus all the home fleet were on form aswell.
