    GWR 2-8-0T No 4247 is visiting the railway and will be hauling trains on 16, 17, 23, 24 & 30 April and 1st & 2nd May.

    on the 23rd and 24th April she will take part in the Railway's Swindon 175 event and 6984 Owsden Hall will be on display at Hayes Knoll yard.

    4247 performed spectacularly at her first weekend stint at the S&CR. She will be running again this weekend - 23rd/24th April to an intensive timetable. I'll hope to post it here within the next day or two.

    This weekend will mark the S&CR's "Swindon 175 celebration" At Hayes Knoll Shed, Modified Hall 6984 Owsden Hall will be on display in the yard so you can see her restoration progress!

    Please come along and celebrate Swindon's finest machines in the flesh.
