    I see that Hornby are bring out another version of 4472 Scotts man to celebrated when it went to Australia who is going to buy this version of her. I can’t see it fitting in very well with someone’s lay out. I just can’t see the point of making it. They could spend the budget for building this version of Scotts man on making another loco or up grading another loco.

    It's just something a little different for the collectors market, to mark an historic event 20 years after it occurred.

    These models were delivered about a month ago and all sold out straight away. The vast majority went to Australia and the U.K. market only received a few hundred apparently.

    Makes sense, whats pretty useless for our layouts is perfect for them.

    It's not exactly useful for Australian layouts as they model in HO scale...
