    Love the pic of 44767 leaving southport as i drive over St lukes bridge many times during the week

    That scene has changed so much now station gone and just double track

    I assume this was in the days when 44767 was at 27c Southport

    The valve gear on 44767 never fails to impress! I had a ride behind her in February last year at the KWVR - nice to see her back in action again. I remember her at Steamtown, Carnforth in the early 1970s, looking very sorry for herself. I've followed her preservation career with interest. I knew she'd been based at 27A (Bank Hall), but didn't realise that she's been a Southport engine for a period.
