45132 Main Generator Appeal

Class 45 (45132) has now got a fundraising page to help with the cost of repairing the main generator.

Having seen the damage to the generator first hand this is a worth cause.
You’ve gotta feel sorry for Roger and his group.

With the news 50027s gennys x3 are finished and ready for payment / collection, some attention can hopefully be paid to 45132s main gen (theyre side by side at the generator overhaul company in Derbyshire).

Out of interest, is it known where the "undamaged 45/0 main generator" came from?

45015 at Shackerstone.
Despite being sat outside in the rain for 30 odd years it gave a good meg reading so it was a no brainier to try to match them up.

Seen a post on Facebook today suggesting the main genny is being fitted to the engine today.
