    The LMS-Patriot Project, in partnership with Andrew Kennedy (Oakwood Visuals), has produced video updates to show the progress of the new build Patriot - 'The Unknown Warrior'. These can be accessed on our recently updated website www.lms-patriot.org.uk.

    A drag box, front bogie bolster, frame stretchers and buffer beams will be made and fitted to the frames at the Llangollen Railway Works in the coming months.

    An Appeal for the wheelsets was launched in June and the current thrust of our fundraising is for the driving wheel castings, tyres, axles, crank akles, crank pins, horn guides and axle boxes.

    Donations can be made via the website by completing a Donations or Regular Contributions form, or using the new 'Donate Now' link.

    Membership Forms are also available on the website for downloading.

    Patriot Frame Plates on Display at Llangollen Autumn Steam Gala

    The frame plates for 45551 'The Unknown Warrior' will be on public display at the Llangollen Railway Works during the Llangollen Autumn Steam Gala which runs from Friday 11th - Sunday 13th Sept.

    Project Trustees will be on hand during the weekend to answer questions and explain the plans for the Project.
