46115 & 5690 to York Light engine movement?

    Well seen as though both 46115 and 5690 are required next week over at York, are they going to move together, i've heard a rumour that is the case for Friday?? Anyone know of anything certain?

    That's what I heard this evening too. 2 locos plus 2 support coaches, sometime on Friday.

    Oh jolly good :D... Well i'll be over at Colton all day anyway for 6233 and 45407, but will keep my eye out for times...

    Interesting to see on the "going away" shot in the gallery linked above that 46115 appears to have an amount of loose coal stacked in the space at the rear of the tender, on top of the water tank where the tank lid is.
    Would have thought that was a bit risky for the crew of 5690 behind? The coal does not appear to be netted over.
