    Hi Everybody,
Was out for this at Lydgate on the climb to Copy Pit from Stansfield Hall Junction.
The wife used youngest sons camcorder and got it at Sowerby Bridge. Yes it is costing me!
Had 'The Railway Children' headboard on 46115.
I am lead to beleive it was a surprise trip for Stephen Cornish the retiring Network Rail supremo.
    Videos to come later.

    Regards,
    John.

10.57 through Stalybridge, sounding great. Quite a few of us there for a 'secret' trip.

I saw 46115 at both Astley crossing on the ECS move to Victoria and then at Greenfield station, bang on time and going well at both locations. I will have to post the photos up tonight as I rushed back to get to work at 1pm so missed Copy Pit

    Neil.

It really stormed Copy Pit with its load (with ease!!) - and due to it following a service train , managed to catch it between Accrington & Blackburn also and later on the approach to Sough Tunnel leaving Darwen and running to time also

seven pictures in total in reverse order starting here - http://john-robinson.fotopic.net/p59559931.html

If this is true, then I hope SC had a really good day out. He deserves it! =D> He's done a stirling job smoothing the path for special trains (not just steam) around the congested and cofusing network. (He was only the "supremo" for charter trains, not NR as a whole. ;-) )

How on earth did they keep it from him? :-$ Maybe he knew about the trip but didn't know it was for him?!

Nice shot. =D> Looks like the weather was OK. You didn't fancy going higher up, then, to get above the trees a bit more? ;-)

I really didn't have the energy to climb all the way up today, although having seen Sowerbylad's clip i wish i'd found the energy now. I'm sure there will be another time...
