The Railway Touring Company ran a charter from Carnforth to Leyburn on 6th April 2019 with Stanier 8F 2-8-0 No. 48151 and Rebuilt Bulleid Merchant Navy class 4-6-2 No. 35018 British India Line providing the motive power throughout, sometimes double-heading and sometimes in top and tail mode.
I made a very early start to photograph the train while it was running along the Little North Western route between Carnforth and Settle, and enjoyed bright sunshine near Eldroth.

I was able to beat the train to Gargrave for a second shot, but most of it was hidden by the clouds of black smoke pouring from No. 48151's chimney.
