    I wonder if anyone out there can help. I have the loco which has 3 x connecting rubber tubes for water transfer etc from tender to loco, fitting as shown on plans o/d 3/16 copper tubing. The rubber has perished, but try as I might, I can find no replacements anywhere !! I only need about 12" ! suggestions have been to use 5mm tubing (available) and metal ties. mmmm.     Yes I am an active volunteer
    Most of my locos have 1/4" copper tubing connected by flexible pipe I got from a car accessory shop - I think its fuel pipe. I've got a couple of odd bits in the toolbox that might be 3/16" but I'm away for a month so can't check - sorry. Ray.

    On the 45th!
    I use the silicone tubing that you get in model aircraft shops for fuel lines, it stretches well over the pipe and holds without clips.
