Well what a day, was up nice and early to go up to Shipton this morning to capture 45407 & 76079 however got onto the North circular at York and Bang! I got stuck behind a coal wagon so took me ages to get to the turning to head up to Shipton, anyway got up to Shipton was just opening the car door and what was coming along.... ](*,) Unfortunately didn't have time to even get the camera out of the bag and they did look quite impressive in the consist they were in. Never mind we win some and loose some. Anyway raced back down to Colton where I intended on seeing 76079, managed to capture her there although that was nearly a miss too seen as though she was running about 25 minutes early already. Anyway started to wait around for 5972 but managed to break the Tri-pod big time, although managed a temp bodge job till i returned home. 5972 turned up bang on time and a nice blow on the whistle :). All set now for tomorrow :D.

Today really was one of them days... Haha, never mind what i did get worked out ok.

I'm planning on doing Knaresborough viaduct in the morning, i seem to have an obsession of doing the viaduct on the very first day, although i'm wanting to try the Golf course crossing so may end up doing that, then in the evening i'm thinking Church Fenton or Rigton Crossing haven't decided.

Didn't you venture out today Stuart? Or you saving yourself for tomorrow?

I was earning a crust today in "way aye" land but I might put in an appearance tomorrow.

If the golf course crossing is the one just outside Knaresboro' then I think you might be shooting into the sun................. if we get any.
