Was I at Goathland station two weeks ago, or has the real station been relocated to the States for re-erection as 'Hogsmeade'? I think we must be told.

Perhaps they could build a Great Bear?

Didn't one of the rags run a piece asking if the real 5972 had been exported or did I imagine it?

The two Florida based '5972's look amazing - certainly look at first glance like the real thing! Does anyone know anything more about them like who built them/ are they live steam/ are they full size etc ?!

By the looks of it there's an access hatch on the right hand side where the 'firebox' is. I would guess at diesel powered?

I wonder if they are open to running photo charters and will repaint it in BR livery for the occasion :)

Universal have been collecting drawings of hall parts for a while now - the guy I spoke with was drawing a full size version in Solidworks for replicas to be constructed

It's nice to know that they put in the research!

I always find theme parks and the like incredible places in terms of construction, how everything is a veneer and underneath it's a bit of scaff and some metal sheeting.
