60163 Tornado York 12/8/25 Derby to NYMR

    Having found out late last night that the movement of 60163 Tornado from Litchurch Lane to NYMR was with a diesel pilot

    i decided to go to York to see it as it was originally going into Platform 7, something i very much doubted it would do, lo and behold, just as Tornado
    was passing Holgate sidings someone yells out its going into P11, Oh well!!

    I got a few photos and then walked at my usual slow pace over to P9 to see it leave hopefully, when i arrived on P9 the class 66 was showing red lights, oh dear its going to reverse
    into Holgate sidings, thankfully it changed its lights to forward movement. Phew!!
    Sadly the class 66 was in Rainbow colours and overshadowed Tornado's all over green livery
    Anyway here are the photos, trying to avoid the overheads coming in was a nightmare
