    So how many of you lads and lasses are going on this trip ? i heard they are putting on 1 more premuire coach on this trip so must be booking up well and i am looking forward to this last trip of the year with the king before its light movement back to the westsomerset railway .

    I note that on UK Steam it shows that on arrival back at BTM 6024 leaves for the WSR. Looking on the WSR website I see that on the loco line up for the winter steam festival a guest GWR loco is listed, 6024???

    Hi as far as i know we are going into winter overhall as we are out in april our 1st trip,
    but i i hear any new will post it take care and have a wonderfull christmas.

    Hi no.7 cant help you on that one it depends on which way round the coaching stock come's into west junction.but surport coach behind loco all day .

    I suspect this is probably to pick up and set down conductor driver,most DBS drivers probably don't sign for the road into Paddington.

    Are all systems go for this trip? No late-notice changes? Let's hope the FTR (on Friday?) goes OK. Looking forward to seeing 6024 charge up Dauntsey bank on Saturday.

    Hi steamage, i am sure shirley would second that as well i know i do we all got a couple of long days in frount of us but looking forward to it , i sure things will be fine and she be running into temple meads then heading down to london the weather looking good as well roll on saturday .

    Cold night, a light wind 9 mph, but possibiliy of some sunshine in the morning unless metcheck is wrong.

    And it is still grey and miserable in Bristol.

    YEP a very cold night in bristol last night but never mind the king will be steaming into temple meads in about 4 hours so prep day in the cold was worth it see you later i will be the one with the silly hat on in the surport coach give us a wave hope every one has a great day out with us and the king and if you are linesideing you post some great shots of her ,
