This on train video features 6024 'King Edward I' making a memorable ascent of Old Hill Bank in the West Midlands with a returning Welsh Marches Express on 10th September 2005.

This was Bescot driver Tony Roseblade's last working before retirement and he went out in style, first with a high speed run towards the Midlands and then a stunning climb of Old Hill Bank. Tony was presented with gifts at Birmingham Snow Hill, including money which had been donated by passengers on board the tour,Vince Ashbrook is seen shaking hands with Tony and was responsible for organising the presentation,Tony is then also seen with his EWS Footplate colleagues before departing with the ECS,at this point the smoke alarms all around Snow HIll went off!
