6435 Charter at Blaenavon

    All,

    The Pontypool and Blaenavon Railway are working with the Compo Club again this year to offer the opportunity to take part in a Full Day charter with 6435 on out steaply graded line from Blaenavon to Garn Yr Erw. The event will take place on Monday 14th September 09. The loco will be in steam all day working BR freight and Passenger trains. There will be a few period vehicles present too to set the scene on out timeless railway. We will start at 08:00, running through to the early evening; when there will be a short night shoot. We will have the tea rooms to be open throughout the day serving refreshments and light lunches at a very reasonable price.

    All this for £40.00 for the day.

    This is the third Charter at Blaenavon and after the success of 813 and 5619 we will, I am sure, live up to our promise of a great day in the south Wales valleys.
