Well with an intention of just going to Shap for the Black 5's and 70013 I didn't do too bad in doing a 400 Mile round trip... But was worth it.

Well the day started at Scout Green at Shap with 70013 and with no sign or news of the 5's we decided to chase (although I wouldn't call it chasing ;) ) 70013 up to Lockerbie, having thought about it we may have got somewhere in before but not knowing the area we decided to head up there. Well after that we ventured up to Beattock with the initial intention of filming from the car and following it up the B7076 however there seemed to be quite a bit of traffic about so we opted for a shot about half way up. Although to my surprisement we were joined by an Adder trying to get in my bag... I'd never screamed so loud when I'd spotted it and just jumped and left everything behind lol, Andrew had to go get the stuff and then the dam thing wouldn't leave us alone, I'd never been so happy to leave a film location. We managed to get to Beattock summit before 70013 where we got another shot and finally finished the day off just north of Abington at Clyde's Bridge.

I've uploaded 3 of the shots, from Shap, Beattock & Abington the rest are available on the Part 2 DVD.
