THE 71000 WEBSITE STATES THAT THE DUKE HAS BEEN BOOKED FOR TWO V.S.O.E. TRIPS

THE VICTORIA - BATH WED. 27/10/2010 & THE SURREY HILLS ON FRIDAY 5/11/2010.

I WILL DEFINATELY BE OUT FOR THESE, NOT TO BE MISSED.

Thanks, will definitely be out for both those!! May even book on one as I have some discount vouchers.....

PS Why would they take 71000 off at Westbury on the Bristol trip? At the moment that's what UK Steam is saying. Would love to see it through Sydney Gardens!!!!!

The Westbury to Bristol section is very good for photography. It has valleys, rivers, tunnels, bridges. A great shame if they run the VSOE behind a box. <BJ>

This year nearly all the VSOE runs to Bath and Bristol have had steam all the way through, it seems odd that this could be an exception.

UKSteam does quote Victoria - Bristol, no mention of Westbury unless you know otherwise.

I see there is another thread has started on the same topic, so I hope this one is

not terminated as with 18th August trip.

Thanks Steve, looking forward to seeing both trips.

I would like to see Lizzy on the Pullmans one day.

Has a Princess ever hauled a Pullman train?

I am now out for both of these runs as I had rather a lot more holiday left than I thought. It will be good to see 71000 again since that run over the South Devon banks with a Class 67 in tow.

I hope UK Steam have it right rather than your friend. It should give me the chance to see her at Bracknell and then hare down and catch her on my first ever visit to Crofton on the down trip.

Would anyone have the times and route for tomorrows LE move down to Stewarts Lane? With working this weekend I didn't get a chance to get over to the ELR and haven't seen the Duke for a while.

    Thanks, Neil.
