Nice photos Martin. Got to say 828 is a very nice engine and I am glad that it has visited the SVR.

It looks absolutely spot on in the valley and just about everyone who was out in the valley yesterday , who stopped to watch her past . There is just something about that Blue .

SVR deserve a tremendous thanks for bringing her south for so many to enjoy

And the Strathspey Railway Company and the Scottish Locomotive Preservation Trust Fund (who own her) for agreeing to the hire of the locomotive to the SVR.

After 2 cracking days (Monday, Tuesday) with 828! A big thanks to everyone who supported the charters and also to the crews on the day who were great!

This loco has been a popular visitor to the Valley and i feel was the star attraction at the gala.

Shes a cracking loco with the striking blue livery and was a pleasure to have 2 days with her.

Also a thank you to Colin and Calum (the 828 support lads) for preparing her for the days charters, it was good to meet them and seemed to enjoy themselves.
