Just thought I'd add that BR Riddles 9F 92203 will be visiting the Great Central Railways Steam Railway gala in October. Should be nice seeing David Sheppards locomotive at the head of a windcutter rake.

Very good news! I love this loco. Used to break my heart when it was on the East Somerset Railway, in the days when the line was even shorter than it is now. The GCR will be a great place to see 92203 at work. Nice one!

Yes good to see a 9F back where they did so much good work. It's not the first time of course. Black Prince and 92212 were both at a Winter gala about 10 years ago. My that WAS a cold day.

Brilliant news! In my opinion, 9Fs are one of the best types of steam loco to have been built in this country.

Shame we'll never see one on the mainline again, unless there is someone out there who is good at arguing with Network Rail.

Out of interest, when was the last time 92203 ran mainline?
