I have a question about 925 Cheltenham, she was restored/steamed for Rainhill in 1980, but as far as I can tell she did not steam or run afterwards. Was the work done on her just enough to get to Rainhill and back? Or were there other reasons for her appearing to go straight back to static display?

It has been covered on here elsewhere but basically she was found to have a flawed axle which put paid to any further running.
