P&O will be launching the maiden voyage of their new Italian built cruise liner MV Britannia from Southampton docks in March 2015. I wonder if (and if not - why not) a run by Britannia from Victoria to Southampton to meet up for its departure (or return) is planned? If I was in the marketing department of Carnival Cruise lines I would be pondering getting this together.

Would really need to be from Waterloo as an Ocean Liner Express from the 1960s.

    But a good idea.

Charter the British Pullman. Send Carnival Cruises an email. You can have the credit for the idea.

Sounds like a fine idea. Good one. mr K - and Big Al's further thoughts are good too...

Oh, if anyone's wondering, that number '9614036' is the IMO number of m.v."Britannia".

Sent their press office an email, suggesting they explore the idea.
