The Sister Boniface episode "The Star of the Orient" was shown twice on TV over the holiday period. It seemed to merge Murder on the Orient Express and The Lady Vanishes.
The train was pulled by pannier tank 9631. Records show that loco was scrapped in October 1965.
Does anyone know please where the programme was filmed and which pannier was used; was it perhaps
9681 from the Dean Forest line? Here's a shot from the programme.

Yes, it was shot on the Dean Forest railway and it is indeed 9681.
Fun fact: Sister Boniface is a spin-off of Father Brown and Lorna Watson started off in a sketch show with Ingrid Oliver, now married to Richard Osman.

I like the character, but never really watched any of the episodes in full.
