As my photographic skills improved so did the quality control on what was acceptable for the collection. Those transparencies that failed the quality control were generally consigned to the waste paper bin. However a few survived and with the technology now available a passable image can be made from some of these. I have been experimenting with a batch of transparencies of class 20’s and this collection contains those that have been from a photographic point of view “reinstated to traffic from the scrap line”. Interestingly in reality all the class 20 locomotives in this collection from 1978 are still in existence in 2009. As always feedback and comments welcome.
