    40145 and D335 setting off from the East Lancs on their travels and picking up 40 106, is not a unique event, of course.

    I took this photo at Ashburys in December 1979 of a trio, 40112, 40176 and 40135. So D335 has done it before.

    Im looking forward to 40145 returning to green. :)

    will look great alongside d335 and 40106.

    I do think itd look even better if they took off the headlight and used a lamp like they use on steamers when on the mainline.

    has 40145 had its traction motor replaced yet? havent seen many pics of it on the net.
