    Hello all,

I was just wondering whether anyone could advise me if the AIBI is still going? If so, is there a list of member inspectors available anywhere?

The boiler of my locomotive was inspected in 2020 and now the works have been completed I need to organise a subsequent inspection but the person I was using before seems to be unreachable. His name was Martin Smith - could anyone perhaps advise whether he has retired since then?

    Many thanks,

Martin Clark was the chairman, not sure if he still is. I believe it is still in existence, but it has always been an association of self-employed independent inspectors, the likes of Dave Wothers, John Glaze, Jonathan Wheeler etc. Having stepped back from my involvement with NTET I'm afraid I no longer have ready access to the listings of the regularly encountered inspectors.

Jonathon Wheeler is/was involved in the administration side of the AIBI it may be worth looking at WHEELER-STEAM.co.uk
