All 7 P&O Cruiseliners in Southampton 3rd July

Just found this by chance while trawling the internet looking at cross-channel hovercraft of all things. Learned that two are preserved at the Hovercraft Museum, but also found out about this event.

P&O Cruises Grand Event

All 7 will sail out into the solent in the evening for a review, and there will be a display by the Red Arrows over the Solent in the evening ("subject to the weather")

Indeed, am booked on the UK Railtours diesel excursion for the event, and of course with my luck the weather is scheduled to be atrocious.

Yes I won't bother finding a place for the Red Arrows(!), just trying to get somewhere to see all the ships go past.

Red Arrows cancelled - no surprises there. I guess Southampton is jinxed. Red Arrows first flypast cancelled (From Daily Echo) Still hope everyone enjoys their bath - I mean cruise around the harbour! :rain:
