Allchin steamroller needs your vote

    Some of you may be aware a while ago the Northampton & Lamport Railway was given an Allchin steam roller by Northampton Council. The roller has been entered into the people millions project on ITV and is now through to the final vote. We will be competing with a project to restore some church bells. Anglia TV wil be filming a short clip on each project then screening it on 24th Nov between 6 and 6:30pm, and inviting the public to vote for the project they wish the money to go to.

    We would much appreciate your vote as it would give us the chance to restore what is believed to be the only W M Allchin steam roller left in the country. If you want some more info about the roller then please visit the website allchinroller.com or peoplesmillions.org.uk

    One correction though there is another Allchin 10 tonner in a Bedfordshire collection (ex Northampton CC)
