They are really getting on with the clearing and forming of the access to the track bed along with various projects at Lionheart.

They also have a very active Facebook feed which is very regularly updated with photographs https://www.facebook.com/AlnValleyRailway plus a monthly online newsletter which can be signed up to here http://www.alnvalleyrailway.co.uk/index.php/news/newsletters

I have no direct link to them bar a yearly visit, but have found it to be the friendliest railway (and also site of my little girls first train ride and also first access to a cab!) - Good luck to them!

I must say, having taken a thorough look at their facebook page (I recommend clicking on 'photos' and going from earliest to latest) I am amazed at how far they have come in such a short space of time.

Scratch built signals, signal box, footbridge, waiting room, platforms, a decent shed with inspection pit and concrete base, all within 4 years. It's amazing.

Had our yearly trip this summer, still making decent progress both at Lionheart and with the works (mainly behind the scenes at the moment) to get to Alnmouth.

I suspect this will have brought some cash into the coffers as well..... https://x.com/VFshirts/status/1823259678358266291

Looking at it, I would say the vast majority, with a bit of added CGI.
