    Alstom has launched new designs for its North American tram concept, Citadis Spirit.

    CGI renderings of the new light rail vehicles were unveiled at the 2013 American Public Transportation Association Rail Conference in Philadelphia this week.

    Alstom has already agreed to supply 34 Spirit trams for Ottawa’s proposed $2.1 billion Confederation Line.

    The new vehicles will be built in North America from 2015.
