Ten people have been arrested during a five-day crackdown on anti-social behaviour at railway stations in West Sussex and Hampshire.

Offences included criminal damage, drug and graffiti crime, and assaults on staff on the line between Chichester and Emsworth stations. Police said the operation followed complaints involving youths from outside the local area.

"We now hope to see a reduction in crime," said Insp Mick Morris.

The operation involved officers from the British Transport Police, Sussex Police, Chichester District Council and train company Southern. Railway stations in Chichester, Fishbourne, Bosham, Nutbourne, Southbourne and Emsworth and the surrounding areas were targeted between 18 and 22 July.
