The Golden Valley Light Railway are pleased to announce that Ashover Coach No.4 will be running with Baldwin 4-6-0T No.778 on the 16th and 17th of August 2014 during the Midland Railway Butterley's Midland Railex event.
The weekend will be a one off chance for an Ashover Light Railway recreation with the Baldwin Loco which probably won't happen again.
Tickets are £5 per person and are individually numbered. ALRNO.4 POSTER.png 10484789_10204273270013303_1900527520491662638_n.jpg

No I do not currently volunteer
There is some good videos online of this event 4 years ago. The CVLR did a good renovation on the coach, the Lincoln railway has 2, there are now 4 surviving Baldwins in the UK in various states of renovation
    Hopefully will be repeated.

From a recent article in Narrow Gauge World the ALRS has been frustrated in opening the original route, but has a workshop at Peak Rail. From other threads they may be able to soon have access to the former Derbyshire Dales track and maybe able to start diesel trains and restore the Rainbow cafe.
The Bachmann 009 locos are also on sale 4 years after the announcement with Peggy selling out.
The model Ashover coach has yet to go on sale, but no doubt will also sell well.
