We are now able to confirm further visiting locomotives for our Autumn Steam Gala.Ex LSWR T9 4-4-0 No. 30120 will join the already-confirmed Webb Coal tank No. 7799 as part of the line-up for this popular three-day event. Affectionately known as 'Greyhounds', these distinctive 4-4-0s were a common sight on Southern 'metals' through the early part of the last century. No. 30120 is making its first visit to the Severn Valley Railway. We are also very pleased to announce that SR 'Battle of Britain' 4-6-2 No. 34053 'Sir Keith Park' will be in operation during the weekend. Withdrawn from service by British Railways in 1965, this is "Sir Keith's" first season of operation since restoration.Details of other visiting locomotives will be announced as soon as possible.Further information about the Autumn Steam Gala can be found at our 'Special Events' page.
