Weekends in November between Porthmadog and Beddgelert - this weekend the Mallett was rostered, together with David Lloyd George.

I'm off nest weekend, hoping these locos will be working then!

    Many thanks, Andrew.

Nothing wrong with the Garratts, and they are admirably suited to the WHR, but variety is the spice of life!

    Just back from Porthmadog.

The Mallett and Earl of Merioneth were working on Saturday service; on Sunday the Mallett was replaced by Taliesin. With the lovely weather they looked good.
