I know it's a bit short notice, but if anyone's interested then we are running a intensive train service as part of our 1940's weekend over the 2nd and 3rd of June.

All trains are steam hauled (subject to availability) by either RSH 7151 or TKH 4015. Ticket prices are being held at our normal fare. Car parking is at Oldland Common with a vintage bus shuttle to Bitton Station, where everthing will be open as normal, including our Buffet, which is under new management and well worth a visit.

On Saturday we are running a two coach local train around a 40's themed wedding charter. 2 full round trips in the morning, followed by 3 Bitton Oldland shuttle's while the Wedding train runs South and finally another 2 full line trips.

Sunday on the other hand, takes the form of a mini-gala, with both locos running an intensive service, hauling Passenger, Local, Express and Freight services. Were also doing a little bit of shunting as well for a change.

Timetables for both days should hopefully be posted on our website shortly. Hope to see you there.
