B&KR Mixed Traffic Gala 30th/31st May

    All,

    I'm back again as organiser of the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway/SRPS Mixed Traffic Gala for 2015.

    Visiting locomotives are still being sought but the locos expected in service are:

    Steam:

    There will be demonstration freight as well as mixed trains over the weekend to give the gala that true "mixed traffic" feel and not just mixed motive power!

    On Board we will have a selection of real ale and german lager as well as snacks available in the RMB. As per usual the station buffet will be open for sating your appetite. If this doesnt entice you then why not book on our evening Fish and Chips Special? Award winning local fish and chips with a pint of beer or a glass of wine, what could sound better than that on a nice Saturday evening? More Details are to follow once the booking format is finalised.

    The trains on Saturday evening are not solely for those on the special, anyone can come along and join us for the evening portion of the gala.

    Unfortunately there will be no visiting steam due to circumstances outwith my control..

    However there may be one or two surprises for the diesel lovers in the next week or so! Keep your eyes peeled for announcements!
