Bagnall Locos - Briton Ferry

I've been doing some research into two Bagnall locomotives that operated near here - The Doll (1787 of 1905) and BFW No. 5 (2062 of 1917). They both worked at Briton Ferry Ironworks (though I don't know of their history before then).

I'm curious as to the nearest living relatives of these two, as it were. Both locos have something of a unique look to them (and were built to the unusual gauge of 2' 4 1/2" - not sure of anyone from the Glyn Valley was involved) but are similar to other Bagnall locos. 2062 certainly looks similar to Peter at Amberley (2067 of 1917) and I wondered if they may have been built as part of the same batch? 1787 of 1905 doesn't look much like her sisters from the same time, being most similar (to my eyes) to Sybil (1760 of 1906/8).

Possibly a case of common parts for standard designs being batch built for stock? Kerr Stuart certainly used to do that with several of their designs.

 

Both were built new for Briton Ferry and scrapped in September 1959 with, 1787 had 8" X 12" cylinders 2' 0 1/2" wheels and was 8 1/2 T and, 2026 had 9" X 14" cylinders 2' 3 1/2" wheels and was 14 1/4 T
