    Over the weekend of 16th/17th August 2014 (this weekend), as part of the planned Midland Rail-ex event, Baldwin 4-6-0T No 778 (BLW 44656/17) is scheduled to run over GVLR metals coupled to a restored ALR Coach No. 4. The Baldwin's visit has been arranged courtesy of its owners, the Greensands Museum Railway Trust and the Management of the Leighton Buzzard N.G.R., the loco's home railway.

    This is, indeed, a wonderful opportunity to bring local history alive for both narrow gauge railway enthusiasts and Derbyshire residents alike.
