This Sunday 5th August we are hosting a Toy, Train and Railwayana sale between 10.30am - 4.00pm in Barry Island Station and on the platform under the canopy. There will be 50 tables and the station cafe will be open all day. Many top dealers in Dinky, Gorgi, Matchbox, Hornby, Wrenn, Bachmann, Lima & Railwayana will be present. A 2000 space council run car park is nearby ...........or better still come on an Arriva Trains Wales service right to the station at Barry Island!
On our line 73118 will be running in push-pull mode with the Gatwick Express set and GLV to the Waterfront and Gladstone Bridge Platform.
Admission to the Toy Fair is £1.65. Combined Toy Fair and Train Tickets are available as follows: £6.50 return (Adult), £4.50 children, Family £15.
    All-day Rover ticket £9.50 (adult).
Come and have a great day out!
By the way, although there is no special event on Saturday, we are running our IRIS II Railcar set that day.
Train on both days depart Barry Island :
11.45, 13.30, 14.30 and 15.30 for a 40 minute round trip to either The Waterfront or Gladstone Bridge Platform.
Look forward to seeing you there?

Another good day at Barry today with an attendance in excess of 400 people for the Toy, Train and Railwayana Fair. Barry Island Station was bustling with stalls, traders and customers in both the station building and the platform under the long canopy. Great atmosphere and lots of favourable comments!
73118 and the GATEX set performed well giving those attending the Fair an opportunity to try this unusual traction and rolling stock option. Lots of fun this weekend; even the sun came out for long periods today!
