    08503 was completed today, tested and passed fit for use. Many thanks to Steve Madge and his team.

    We thought that we'd do things a little differently so for two trips, we will have the 08 and 73 at one end of the GATEX train set. The 08, with the 73 tucked inside, will haul from Barry Island to Gladstone Bridge Platform. The return journey will be driven from the GLV and powered by the 73 with the 08 trailing. We will stop at the Barry Main Depot on the way back for a conducted visit around our running shed. 20228 will be on view - see for yourself the progress!
