    3803 unfortunately failed in late July and won't be running again until after her overhaul

    The Battlefield Line is now proud to announce the final line-up for our Autumn Steam Gala

    * GWR 2251 Class 0-6-0 No3205 (courtesy of the South Devon Railway)
    * BR (W) Manor Class 4-6-0 No7820 "Dinmore Manor" (courtesy of Dinmore Manor Locomotive Limited)
    * Hunslet Austerity Saddle Tank of 1953 "Cumbria" (courtesy of the Furness Railway Trust)
    * Peckett OX1 Class 0-6-0 No1859 of 1932 "Sir Gomer"

    This will be the first visit of a Manor Class and a 2251 Class to the line. We are very pleased to be hosting the three visiting engines for the gala and our thanks go to their owning groups/societies for making them available

    7820 comes to us fresh from her seaside summer on the Dartmouth Steam Railway

    3205 was of course the pioneer of the Severn Valley Railway and we are pleased to be joined by such a historic locomotive!

    Join us for an intensive timetable of steam hauled services on this gala weekend!

    Will be visiting on Friday. Although I understand that only Dinmore Manor & 3205 will be running is this correct? Even thought they aren't running will Sir Gomer/Cumbria be visible?

    Hi All.
    The timetable should be up on the website very soon. Both Sir Gomer and Cumbria should be available to view on friday. Dont forget that on Friday children travel for a £1 if accompanied by an Adult.

    Bit of an odd look on 3205, can't decide if it wants to be GWR or BR livery and tender looks unfinished.

    I spent a very enjoyable couple of hours yesterday on this friendly little line and a great cup of tea from the station tea rooms

    To answer the tender conundrum tender is from 3803 and has been hastily repainted from Black ! Loco had the front plate removed for filming in the summer when the BR lining was covered with fablon and GWR liver returned

    With visiting locomotives 7820 Dinmore Manor courtesy of DMLL and the GWSR, and 3205 from the South Devon giving a distinctly Cambrian feel to this former Midland Railway byway

    Gala details and timetables can be found on the railways website http://www.battlefie...ttlefield2.html. 7820 and 3205 are joined by Peckett "Sir Gomer" and Austerity "Cumbria"
