A re-run of the two programmes, filmed at the Llangollen Railway, will be on BBC4 at 19.30 tomorrow & Wednesday.

I rather enjoyed it. Thought some of the archive footage was rather intresting as were some of the headboards.

Also saw 1 Martin Perrys name in the credits, was this anything to do with our resident 9F modeller?

Ahh you live and learn anyhows they were enjoyable programs, what was said about 7822 at the end of tonights program was rather true. It's certainly the 1st engine I think of when someone mentions Llangollen.

A very good program with some excellent archive footage. I think i'm in it very briefly, but most of the regular loco crews were missing that weekend. One of the drivers was getting married on the Saturday.

I thought I recognised a familiar figure - as well as L'il Bear shovelling the clinker out of the pit. A good advert for Llangollen Railway however with a serious commentary that didn't mock the enthusiasts involved in today's heritage activities.
