Beer Festival was a great success

[IMG]The CAMRA beer festival was a great success over the bank holiday weekend.

The sun shone, beer was tasted, the band played and the railway provided a great backdrop to the event.

I visited on Monday afternoon, the final day of the festival, but there were still enough beers on tap to allow sampling of a decent range.

There were plenty of ales from local breweries such as Acorn Brewery in Barnsley and Wentworth Brewery, as well as some from further afield.

My own particular was Wentworth's WPA which I've had in many local real ale pubs.

[IMG]Later in the afternoon, Parson's Lot played a set and it went down as well as the beer.
