    Not as un-railway as you might think.

    It is to lead what is, at 1.5 acres, arguably Britain's biggest model railway layout - and, with the scale landscape dating back to 1929, one of the oldest operating in public view. The 7.25" gauge Light Railway has carried over 1.2 million (full size) passengers in recent years, and running the Gauge 1 model railway network (complete with Westinghouse ex SR/LT interlocked frames) has been the mainline railway career starting point for at least seven of us.
