Hi, As the weather is so erratic at the moment I've spent a bit of time on a new BnW collection of photos.

I've been experimenting with a new colour to BnW conversion technique using LR and CS and if you have a few spare minutes would
appreciate your opinions concerning the results. I know on some of the shots the sky is burnt out a bit but I'm still
on a learning curve with this method so there are a few mistakes like that hear and there.

An interesting set of images and my initial thoughts are that some of those taken on dull days, in interior locations or night scenes are a little heavy / over saturated. This may be because many forget that for perfect exposure there is a one stop difference between colour transparency and b/w film rated at the same ISO (b/w needing extra light / transparency needing less light) and that difference needs to be allowed for during the conversion stage.

Look forward to seeing more as b/w adds an extra dimension of sensitivity to railway photography which I find appealing.
