Blackpool Trams Winter Heritage event 27/28th February 2016.

    Up to six historic vehicles out and about tomorrow and Sunday. Weather forecast is cloudy/dry and fairly light winds (so far...you can never be certain here!). A nice event to shake off the winter cobwebs! £10 for all-day travel on old and current fleet + buses...a bargain!

    Things got off to a bad start today when the ABC train tram failed between the depot and promenade as it came out for service. The resulting blockage threw the timetable out somewhat, but at least BT managed to replace the miscreant with car No. 40, so not all was lost. Even the sun came out to play at times and although it was bloody cold, it stayed dry! Managed to ride on everything apart from the 'boat'...but respect to those who braved it in the freezing cold!

    Brilliant, will look at coming up from Cornwall for one of the enhanced weekends in the summer, do they use the new fleet trams during theses weekends.

    Yes, the normal timetable operates for them. The heritage all day ticket is also valid on those and Blackpool Corporation Transport buses too.
