• All steam engines in use once seen regularly around the Wadebridge area that year, just a few miles from Bodmin
• The return of GWR 57xx Class 0-6-0PT No 4666 in BR black....
• FOUR engines in action - LSWR T9 30120, LSWR Beattie well tanks 30585 & 30587, GWR pannier tank '4666' (4612)
• The next public appearance of the unique T9 4-4-0 No 30120, resplendent in BR lined black livery (courtesy of the National Railway Museum)
• Intensive timetable, with hourly departures from Bodmin General from 10.00-17.00, plus early morning goods train
• Saturday evening Fish & Chip Special.

In preparation for the event, the Railway's own No 4612 is currently being prepared in readiness for its repaint into BR unlined black. It will appear as No '4666' for the Branch Line Weekend only. The real No 4666 (long since scrapped) was one of a trio of 57xx panniers sent by BR Western Region to replace the LSWR 02 0-4-4 tanks.
