Hi, Has anyone got drawings for the above ?
The photo, I forgot to add !
I take it you have tried the NRM at York Search Engine?
They hav been helpful to us in the past.
Yes, the NRM is the first port of call, when they reopen, of course. However, I would suggest you find out the full details of the wagon.
I've not had any joy with the NRM drawings list catalogue. I will contact them, when they reopen.
The NRM 'OPC' list gives these:—
11752 G.A. of 4 wheel std. bogie for 25 ton boiler wagon GWR
11764 G.A. of 4 wheel bogie 4' WB for 35 ton boiler truck No.36949 GWR 1901
10067 G.A. of 8 wheel 65 ton trolley (Crocodile H) Lot 948 GWR 1925
Microfiche 10067 is a likely candidate as that has the beefed-up springing that your (I assume) chopped Macaw has. If it doesn't have a detailed drawing of the bogie it will almost certainly contain a drawing list enabling you to target its number.
I've scanned a drawing that shows the lighter variant that was fitted to most Macaws & Crocs. See the attached PDF:—
Many thanks K14.
